Pitcher is a amazing young talent. I really like this guy! He has incredible style, super hard going drive, loves birds and has a superb nose. He has a soft mouth and is an excellent marker. He has a hard driving flush. He reminds me of his grandfather, FC Larford Fragg with his style. Pitcher is a “fetchaholic.” He loves to retrieve! His other specialty is being a nice, kind and easy to work with guy. Pitcher is a very bonding and biddable dog. He is eager to please and very smart.

Pitcher comes from a distant line breeding litter on the Denalisunflo’s line. Tess, his mother, brings in the lines going back to the 2001 U.S Open High Point Dog Denalisunflo’s Drive, “Teaser,” who is her great grandfather. Tess also brings in the successful field trial dog Pondview II Secret Agent as her grandfather on the other side of her pedigree. Pitcher’s sire Baxter brings in lines going back to FC Denalisunflo’s Tim as his great grandfather. In addition to going back to these great Denalisunflo dogs, both parents have a nice out breeding mix of strong English imported stock.

Pitcher is currently in the field where we have just started shooting pigeons for him and working on the different wind patterns and detailed control. He has a ways to go but he is taking to all of it in a natural way and I think he will make a very competitive dog when the training process is complete and he is mature. I think he will run in the 48 pound class when fully mature. He is a very stylish dog that loves to go! He is a bold puppy and very social!

Pitcher already has extensive travel time and been exposed to different types of cover at an early age. Very nice prospect!

High Prairie’s Gone with the Wind “Scarlett”

Sex: Female

Color: Liver and White

Date of Birth: 7-13-2019

Sire: High Prairie’s Boss of the Plains

Dam: High Prairie’s Southern Charm

Scarlett is special! She is a hard running, taller, leggy female that flat out cranks! She has super style, a great nose, a soft mouth and is great to be around. Scarlet is driven when it comes to birds! She is a strong hard going gal. She is an excellent marker and retriever that just loves to run and find birds. She has a very soft personality but is super aggressive in the field. Scarlett is a very kind dog who takes her training lessons easily and really wants please.

Scarlett is from our 2019 breeding of Savanna bred to Stetson. This litter was very close to a breeding I did of Savanna to Stetson’s father, Drummer, which produced Gracie. Gracie is a dog I am currently running in open field trials who is pure class. Scarlett reminds me a great deal of a young Gracie. She is an extremely talented gal.

Scarlett is primarily English stock with an imported grandmother and plenty of solid English blood coming in from both sides of her pedigree. Her sire is a mix of English and American stock with his bloodlines going back to the Denalisunflo lineage with FC Denalisunflo’s Tim on both sides of his pedigree.

Scarlett is currently in the field where we have just started shooting pigeons for her. We are working on harnessing her power and working on the different wind patterns and range. She has always been a very natural dog which makes my job as a trainer easier. I think she will be a very competitive dog when we get her done.

Scarlett is a taller, leggier framed gal and will be a fairly large bitch in the 48 pound class when fully mature. She is a powerful stylish dog that loves to go! I think she will be really dynamite in the field. Overall she is super prospect loaded with talent!

High Prairie’s Coulee Bottom Seeker “Seeker”

Dam: High Prairie’s Italian Countess

Seeker is a very young dude that I already really like! Yes, he is young, but he comes from a repeat breeding of Tess and Baxter which produced Pitcher (listed above). The reason I like this guy is at 12 weeks old he was chasing butterflies and moths around the yard. He was trying to grab them out of the air! Seeker is already showing great prey drive. He loves to retrieve anything and everything. Even with all this intensity for hunting he is still a gentleman who is kind and eager to please. He moves very well and shows a ton of drive and style and is very athletic for his age. He is smart as a whip. Seeker is a very quick learner. I just love everything about this pup so I have high hopes for him. He is just getting ready to go to the field for more formal training. Seeker is a very social and personable pup.

Seeker has had extensive travel time and has been exposed to different types of cover at an early age. I think he will be really dynamite in the field. He looks like he will mature in the 45-48 pound class. He is a great young prospect! Seeker has everything I look for in a pup. I think he is special!
